Approximate size is 2 inch diameter. This fairly recent discovery of Jasper off the coast of Madagascar is only mined at low tide. It is an orbicular jasper which contains circular markings of varying colors. Stunning polished specimens show off the orbicular nature and the absolute beauty of this stone. Many of the orbs seem to float in seas of green, gold or white. Jasper is a form of chalcedony and is known as the supreme nurturer.
